Distance Education: Dual Credit Courses via Distance LearningOffering high school students the opportunity to take dual or concurrent credit courses requires that high school counselors have a good working relationship with the institution providing the courses. Particularly for those counselors or administrators who are new to dual credit, the process of juggling block schedules and school holidays and ensuring that registration, enrollment and admission requirements are met can seem overwhelming. The most important thing to remember is that EARLY, FREQUENT contact with the college providing the course is essential to building a successful partnership. Nine of the 15 NETnet member schools offer some form of dual, concurrent, or articulated credit courses. Click on a college name to find out more about their enrollment procedures and to see what their dual credit collaboration partners have to say. These links will open in a new window.
