Introduction to Distance Learning Instructional Design

Introduction

This brief module orients you to the rest of the Instructional Design area of the NETnet website, and highlights the hardest step in the process of distance education course conversion: getting started. Even if you’re already familiar with distance education, we hope you’ll take a look at the information about the resources available to you through NETnet, and let us know what other training you’d like to see us offer. This brief module is divided into the following sections:

Getting Started: This unit introduces you to the topics you’ll need to consider before you start developing or converting a course for distance delivery.

Training Resources: This unit provides information on NETnet’s online training resources and our on-site, on-demand workshops available to NETnet member institutions.
