Conference History

The Northeast Texas Consortium is the collaborative effort of 13 higher education institutions to bring a wide range of instruction to 50 rural Northeast Texas counties. The educational programs and services available through The Northeast Texas Consortium enhance the lives of thousands of people each year.  As a part of our mission, NETnet has sponsored a Summer NETnet Distance Learning Conference for over ten years gathering members and vendors together. The conferences focuse on innovative uses of technology in education and offers break-out sessions on a wide variety of topics.
