NETnet video conference
traffic is highly automated and tracked. Conference requests are
received via email on an attached form. Our scheduler reviews and
enters requests into an automated, computerized scheduler. At conference
start time, the automated scheduler connects with the appropriate
equipment and configures the conference. At conference end time,
the automated scheduler connects with the appropriate equipment
and releases the resources. Any problems noted during conference
start or conference end are reflected on one of several control
screens. Pre-, mid- and post-event, we can manually control all
associated technologies if needed. NETnet reports all video conference
traffic in a monthly summary report. Ad-hoc, detailed reports specific
to a site, timeframe, and/or event are available on request.
Our bridging service
is designed to translate signals from a variety of equipment using disparate
technologies. We receive signals from the oldest and newest platforms
in use and have an extremely high degree of success making these systems
interoperate. To the best of our knowledge, our H.320 / H.323 / MPEG-2
compliant bridging system is the only such system in use for education
in the state.
