Charter Committee

The Northeast Texas Consortium (NETnet) gratefully acknowledges those who have made significant contributions to the furtherance of education in East Texas. We hereby recognize the original Charter Project Steering Committee as commissioned by the Honorable William “Bill” Ratliff. The Project Steering Committee, through pioneering leadership and commitment to excellence in rural education, participated in a process that resulted in a formal statement of need in 1994. This report defined the visionary foundation on which the Northeast Texas Consortium (NETnet) was created.
